Default Jimmy Foster Basin St. archtop

OFF THE MARKET! This hand built guitar by Jimmy Foster is as good as new, only a few months old. It has never been out of the house and hasn’t seen much playing time as I’m primarily and acoustic player. It plays like a dream and has exceptional workmanship and tone. 1 3/4” nut width.

How is it possible that it is a 6 string or 7 string guitar????????

I'm sorry, the specs are from Jimmy's site. It is available in a 6 or 7 string configuration...this is the 6 string. I'll edit it, thanks for the head's up.

Wow, what a beauty. If it plays even half as well as it looks, it's a hell of an instrument!

I was surprised at how thin the neck is, and it's effortless to play.

Default FS: Jimmy Foster Basin Street Archtop

Hey Folks,

A boost for a great sounding guitar at a great price. I used to own one. It has wonderfully warm, full, rich highs. Maybe it's the unusual cedar/mahog combination, I don't know. I'd still own it except being tall I couldn't get comfortable with the 15" body.
