Default amps

Any thoughts on the Fender Blues Jr? Just picked one up and like it very much.

A fine amp. Some rock players dislike the way they sound a little "boxy" when cranked up, but clean, they've a very good, surprisingly fender-y (given the EL-84's) tone.

Enjoy it.

I just got one, too. I am quite impressed with the tone for the size and price of the amp. This replaces and old ss Fender Princeton, and there is no legitimate comparison.

I got the black tolex model (hotrod III). I really dig the clean tones. The fat switch adds a boost, but while only playing in the apartment since Christmas, I have not found much use for it yet.

Those Fender Blues amps are highliy regarded. The Blues Deluxe Reissue (40W, 12" speaker) is also a great amp.

My son has one. I like it very much. The cleans are great, the overdrive is nice and the reverb is terrific. My nephew has one and uses it for his main amp for club gigs. It will do a lot.

What's not to like about any Fender tube amp?
