When I saw Kurt Rosenwinkel with his German Trio, he was using a Moffa then - check this:

Unfortunately I have never played a Moffa guitar. However, I have heard it played live by Fabio Zeppetella and Umberto Fiorentino, two great jazz players from Rome. You can check their videos out on YouTube.
