Default Evans amps and nylon string guitars?

Ever since I saw that post that had the Evans amp demo I have been thinking about getting one. But the caveat is that these days I'm playing about 60% archtop and 40% classical w/ the typical Fishman pup (piezo/condenser mike).

Anybody have any experience with say an RE or SE200 and nylon or even flat top?

I was even thinking about just the Evans head an using a Reazors edge 12ER but that gets pricey as opposed to AI or Henriksen.

It might be worth emailing Scot at Evans - just thinking he might know someone who uses the amp with a nylon string

My guess it that it's going to be more mid-rangey than you would want. I have a nylon but have never played it through my Evans because the pickup needs phantom power, which my AER Acousticube provides. One of these days during the next string change I might put the 9V battery back in so I can try it with the Evans, but I think to get a more accurate acoustic sound either go for an acoustic amp or small powered PA/speaker
