Default California telecaster

Does anyone own or know anything about this series of teles. Are they as good as the American standards etc. I have a chance of buying one and wondered if anyone has any views on them . Thanks in advance.PS i allready own a mexican which i love and like playing but wondered if the california is a step up.

Telecaster Forum...
Some of us here are there too (Hi, BDLH...), and they surely know much about tele's (and more...). Jazz can be discussed there, they (we..?) are not just rockers or country pickers.
I don't have a 'real' tele myself (too expensive...); I have a Xaviere XV600, very like a tele thinline. Excellent guitar for many styles and sounds (and bright yellow..!).

Thanks for that dad and good evening to you too wow your in france , still cant get my head round the fact it is so easy to talk to the world. Im a bit of a dinasore when it comes to modern technology. Im in yorkshire England and the weather is terrible but the warmth on this site is great . Peace to you man.
