Hohner Stratocaster

Hello guitarfriends from all over the world,

I'm looking for info about a guitar I bought some time ago. As I have been
doing quite some studiosessions for singer-songwriters (most jazzy or bluesy) lately, I decided to buy a "simple stratocaster" for the more blues-
orientated songs where my full-body jazzer or ac.guitar did not bring the
specific sound I was looking for and with the idea that I would use this strat maybe once in 6 weeks. As the bass-player I was working with played a Hohner fretless bass with a superb sound I decided to buy a Hohner strat the minute I stumbled on one.
We're talking about a "Hohner Arbor MX1 series" type / nr.: E711568.
The instrument feels solid as a rock (and heavy), looks like a born professional and has the amazing sound of the pre-CBS Fender strat I once owned. All 'n all a little miracle !
The Hohner company or what's left of it does not make me any wiser and
furthermore it seems that only an handfull of people know this guitar when
searching the internet.
I know we are not talking about a specific jazz-guitar, but maybe there's
somebody among you on this globe who can give me some information
about this alien. Thanks in advance guys, hope to hear from you.

I seem to remember seeing ads for the Hohner Arbor series back in the mid to late 80s. I don't think I ever played a Strat-style, but I ran across some Les Paul copies that were really good players, especially for the price.
