And an average of almost 5 posts per day! It just wouldn't be the same around here without you, RC!

This has proven to be one of the better forums, owing to the high quality of Randy's contributions.

Many thanks, gentlemen ! Without intending a maudlin response, this forum was of great assistance during some of the tough times that occurred over the past year. Between time spent here and time spent writing the book, I was able to distract myself for a few hours every day. My wife is feeling good now and her hair is starting to return (chemotherapy = no hair) and our lives are as close to being normal as they ever will be.

There are several other forum members who are underging the exact experience as what Joyce and I have been going through. They choose to keep their concerns private but you guys know that Joyce and I think about you every day. Sometimes we're not good at staying in touch which is a problem I'll try to work on. It's important for cancer victims to know that they are not alone !!!

We just had our annual "Relay For Life" for cancer survivors this past weekend so this stuff is on my mind. One of the main reasons for the occasion: to help others realize that they don't have to face this terrible disease by themselves.

Again, many thanks, this is a fine place that attracts many fine people!
Randy

Well I hope that you and Joyce are here for many years to come.

Here's an Irish toast I once gave to Billkath. "May your luck be like the capital of Ireland, always Dublin."

Randy, you know something of my history, and I must say I am proud to have become acquainted with you through this forum. You have offered all of us the benefits of your experience and training and we are all the better for it.

best regards,
John

Thanks, guys !

I'd like to note the new thread started by MSR13, in which Matt and Derek conduct interviews of interesting folks that were at the Montreal Show recently. This type of work is indicative of what a well-run forum with knowledgeable, creative members SHOULD be able to produce - to the benefit of ALL of us

Cheers to you all !
Randy
