Default Essential Arpeggios, Chord Voicings, Modal Backings-A Link

Reading all the previous posts, I have seen a lot of requests for info on arpeggios, chord voicings, transposing thru various keys, the blues in jazz, and other topics. The pros on this site responded in great detail to every question. Here is a link to Dave Woods' (a former member) website. Jazz Guitar Starting Right Dave's work is very "visual" and he cuts to the chase. He does include some backing tracks for four songs and for playing the modes. His stuff won't appeal to everyone. But based on the many posts from folks pleading for advice, I believe it will be invaluable to some in addition to the fantastic advice rended on this site.

I am a rank amateur in jazz but IMHO one can learn a lot about the fretboard, scales, modes, chords, and analyses of tunes using his work. It is all free and he has a one page index which is about as complete as I have seen. You can tell quickly what is there.

He removes stuff occasionally to make room for new stuff. If you see anything you like, I suggest you download it. There is more than what I mentioned. (I have tons of stuff downloaded overtime that he has since removed.)

I have no relationship with Dave other than an being an avid user who is appreciative of his contributions to striving musicians such as myself.

Check it out. Let me know what you think. In case you wonder, it is through no fault of Dave's site that I am still a rank amateur-au contraire, it is because of his site that I have learned as much as I have (plus reading on this and other sites).
