 Chord Book Inquiry Hello members. I am new to this whole process, so please bear with me. In beginning to read and understand the first E-book on theory; I have come up on something I do not follow. Can someone explain paragraph 5 of Page 9. It deals with omitting the 7 of a Dm7 to get D6. Following that statement, another part states that the root of the chord has changed. As I count the 6 would be B from D. What am I missing?     |
