Guitar Epiphone ES175

I am interested in purchasing an Epiphone ES175 but some sellers say Maple body others Maple laminate body
And others say Mahogany. Can anyone tell me which is true as all will behave differently.

They won't behave that differently, epi's laminates are thick and covered in a 1/4 inch of gloss finish.

ES-175's are all laminated maple, IIRC. The neck might be mahogany...

The stiff laminate isn't a bad thing, mind you, it will be much more resistant to feedback plugged in.

I have tried one at the local guitar shop and it was really sweet to play. I loved it's neck and it had almost non-existant low frets. At least this model did. Since it's an electric guitar I don't think wood matters but I am no expert on that. I also really like the Epiphone Emperor Regent. That being said I use a telecaster. I am a beginner at jazz and play other types of music so I use a solid body but would love to one day have a nice hollow body jazz box.
