Default Weird forum-software behavior

I've participated on forums for over a decade now, both for "love" in various hobbies/interests and for "money" as a professional photographer. I've been very used to sitting down at the computer after a few minutes away and simply 'refreshing' the page as a way to make sure that any recent posts since I last looked are shown.

On this forum ... that logs me out. I've never had that behavior crop up before and old dunce that I am, get bit by it a couple times a day here. It's a quick and easy way to stay on the "section" I'm on and yet force an update ... but here it seems one needs to click on the forum section in the header and then re-find/enter the thread one was on again. Do-able, of course ... but hey, it's an extra coupla steps when everywhere else one quick one does the job ...

I know ... if that's the wost complaint I've got today, big deal!

When you log in, click on the little box that says - remember me.

Default huh

I'm used to "remember me" meaning (basically) that you're automatically logged on if your browser comes up ... not particularly my fav online behavior. I've not checked that on any other forum. Of the ... something over 20? ... that I've been on in the last few years alone.

Not a deal-breaker of course, the forum participants here are a joy ... but just, well, odd software ... or perhaps, better put, unique?

Yep. It addresses your original complaint, but ...
