Default Howard Roberts book?

Reading the article in Vintage guitar I know they mentioned a transcription but it seems to me I have read of an instruction book written by HR.

Cant find it anywhere (or even the name for that matter)

Am I mistaken or just misguided?

You are not totally wrong. Apparently, this Mel Bay book on (available on Amazon) has some transcriptions in it which one of the reviewers claims are "spot on." But it is not just a transcription book. It tells a lot about Howard's life and guitars / gear.

Amazon.com: Mel Bay Jazz Guitar Styling of Howard Roberts (9780786674091): Mitch Holder & Patty Roberts: Books

I decided to order a copy myself just now.

I love a lot of Howard Roberts music, especially the Whatever's Fair CD that has two albums in one on it.

G'Day!
