Yeah, I guess these are "classic modern" tunes lol. I guess a better name for that list might be Post-Bop, when I was in school there were always arguments going on about what to call that era of tunes, some guys insisted on Modern Jazz, post 1965 or so to the present, other guys like to call them Post Bop, others Modal or whatever. For me I like the term Modern for tunes written past 1965-1970, which covers a lot of ground but for some reason that term stuck with me to describe tunes from that era onwards.

Default singing with the guitar

When I started playing guitar I didn't realize how much the voice is connected to the hands any of the tunes that I like to do became a lot more fun to do.All and all that begining singer is just the same as the guitar for me.Like a long lost friend you finally meet up with.

For sure, the better we can connect our voices to our guitars the better we usually play.

Hey Everyone,
Thanks again for all those who checked out the series this month. All the articles are on the site now and people asked for the link to the main page, with links to all 30 articles, so here it is again in case you missed it.

Hey Everyone,
I've had a lot of people asking me for an ebook version of this 30 day project, so I worked hard on it this last month and it's recently been published.

If you want to check out a printable pdf version of all 30 lessons, with more than 20 bonus pages of examples and expanded lessons, as well as 5 bonus lessons never before published on my site, you can check out the book at the link below.

30 Days to Better Jazz Guitar Ebook | MattWarnockGuitar.com

I kept it affordable, I want people to check out the series and have an ebook version if they want, so it sells for the introductory price of 14.99. The price will go up after December 1st so grab your copy soon if you're interested!

Also, all of the articles in the original series will remain on my site for those that want to keep referring back to them, so no worries about me pulling those articles or anything like that.

Anyway, if you dug the series and want the ebook check it out, thanks again everyone for the support with this project, it was a blast to do!
