Jorge,

Thanks for sharing that. I look forward to playing it tomorrow and checking out your website.

I have really enjoyed playing songs like Seis Por Derecho, Por El Camino Real, Los Cuajaritos, Carora, El Diablo Suelto and various Lauro Vals on bass or cello in trio with guitar and percussion or as a guitarist playing some older songs like Polo Margariteno, El Yopo and Caballo Viejo with a Colombian singer/cuatro player.

I remember being pretty thrown playing a Merengue. The basic cuatro groove seemed easy enough but the melody was very across the bar. Pretty humbling to stumble on a children's folk song.

I like pianist Ed Simon's work in general but also when he mixes the Venezuelan folklore with jazz.

Hey Jorje how are you... cute composition, I like use of both MM and HM. Pretty simple to sight read through, which is cool. Do you have a 7 string or do you tune E string down to D. I just tune down for sight reading, which changed you fingerings... Do you ever use jazz harmony... again very nice...
Best Reg
