 101 Jazz Licks hey i bought this really tight book called 101 Jazz Licks by Wolf Marshall. i like it alot. it has like 10 licks in every style like Swing, Bebop, Cool jazz/Hard Bop, Modal Jazz, Soul Jazz, Fusion, Jazz Chord Licks, and some other ones. it also comes with a CD with all the licks played. the licks are long too. i thought they were gonna be tiny little licks but they are like a good 10 seconds long. so far, ive been working on the swing ones and most of them are playing ala charlie christian. i think it has really helped me look at things in different ways and stuff. just thought id let everyone know
