| | Chris Standring course - opinions? I have just got an email letting me know that the Chris Standring Play What You Hear course is to be available on offer shortly for $47, but for two days only. At this price I am seriously tempted - I'm sadly of limited means these days, and will require the CDrom version, but I'd be grateful for any opinions from you guys. I would be particulary keen to hear from anyone in the UK/Europe who has the CD rom version. But anyone really!
Thanks! |

| | Anyone out there? I'm not trying to advertise for Chris Standring or anything, but would appreciate some genuine feedback about the direction and potential benefits of the course and how people find it. I will have to make a decision early next week, but I am still tempted! Someone must have used it surely! |

| | Got the same email, and I imagine everyone on this group did, as Chris has a relationship with this site.
$47 is a great price, and obviously Chris has been affected by the down economy along with everyone else. There are threads here discussing this software, and comparing it to other methods like Mimi Fox's and Bruno's institute.
You know how it is, people tend to say things are great that they purchase, but there have been enough users who have said good things about this course, that no doubt it is worthwhile at the regular price, and for $47 is a nobrainer. |

It is a great price though so I think I'll be giving it a go! |

Just wanted you to know that there are several people who have purchased/used it here so you can poke around for those threads. Still, for $47, if I didn't have more than enough to work on, I would buy it. That price is a steal. Let us know if you pull the trigger. |

Let us know if you pull the trigger. | The trigger has been pulled , at the price (which works out to about £34 for those of you in the UK, including shipping) it was just too good to resist. £34 for at least 10 years worth of study material seems like a no-brainer to me. It may not be everything I hope for (although it could be) but if it provides me with a direction, and a structured way to improve (and I think it will) it is well worth it to me. I certainly can't afford a teacher just at the moment, so this is a great alternative.
Anyway, I guess it will take a little while for the CD Rom to ship from the USA to the UK, but now I'm waiting with eager anticipation. Will let you all know my first impressions when I have it. |

Stefan | Hi Stefan, I'm afraid the offer is now over, it was for two days only on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (I did mention that in my original post). I got an email about the offer as I was on Chris Standing's mailing list - you can sign up for free email lessons on the website.
Anyway, I'm sorry you've missed it but it is worth keeping an eye out in case he does a similar offer at some point in the future (I suspect he might). I will let you all know what I think when I receive the course.
Cheers! |

| | Play What You Hear, on sale I received an email from Chris Standring indicating that Play What You Hear and some of his other offerings will be 50% off on March 20-21 2012. That's about $48, which sounds like a great price.
