Guitar

Benedetto Fratello - this one.

Benedetto Fratello Jazz Guitar (preowned)

More than I could afford, could ever justify, would ever spend on a guitar.

i have played a 59 LP custom -3 pups-about 75k
and to me perhaps the most priceless instrument
kris kristoffersons d-28
it is unique-it has the name of the whos who of early rock and folk and country,

dylan, hendrix, janis, odetta, bob gibson, the farinas, baez, etc etc -each carved into the top by the artist, small , the entire top, and elswhere is covered-

it is simply jaw dropping to see-
each 'signature' is unique-

i would imagine this is perhaps the most valuable-and i have no idea

Was this a wooden bridge or a tune-o-matic style?

The Brooklyn Bridge has been been converted to a tune o matic. When you drive over it, you get more sustain.

The most expensive guitar I tried was a 1959 Les Paul, this one was priced at 150K(sometimes they go for double)
At the current price of ~$1697 an ounce, we should get a hold of one, weigh it, and make sure it really is worth a million. Though I guess you have to work in the labor costs, tone controls, and strings, which are probably made of rhodium.

Gotta love Gruhn's. I've played some wonderful old Gibsons in there, as well as a nice Benedetto that had $20,000 on it.

I played a couple oldie but goodie's in Guitar Center's Hollywood Vintage room. An ES-175 with a single P-90 that was tagged at 8-9k, a 58 Tele that was 12k, and a Gibson Johnny Smith that was like 15kish. That's as far as I got... LOL

Which Benedetto was it? I had one for sale for 2 years before it finally sold in May of this year. It was an 87 Cremona. It was a great instrument but I wasn't playing it. Genuine Benedettos are way too good to leave unplayed in the basement.
