Is this Illegal?

While doing a search for tips on Holdsworth's style, I ran a cross a an analysis by Wolf Marshall in a place called 4shared. I know this is probably naive, but is this an illegal file?

If it sells for real money on any legitimate site (amazon for example) then it's probably not meant to be free. However, I did a search for that same thing and think I found it on a site called pianofiles.com...if it's the same thing. If it is also free on a very public site like that then it's probably become public domain.

If you can get a look at the copyright, then that's probably the final word.

Yeah, check the copyright status of the file. Not everything uploaded on 4shared is illegal, but a lot of it is...so that's why you should always double-check before you download the file.
