The man's right, you know. There's a whole load of snobbery around a lot of stuff put out as 'jazz', imho (but then again, I'm doubtlessly dumb...).

One of my favorite comments heard on a gig: "I don't want to have to think about music!". I don't think it's snobbery, it's just not music for the LCD.
