Default Online drum machine?

I am looking for an online drum machine that is:

-web based (although if I suppose I would be willing to download something as long as it is BS free)

-free

-doesn't use quick time

-has a library of good jazz beats

-has a tempo control

Anybody know of one?

OK, well, it has been 6 weeks and nobody has anything for me. Suppose I allow you to drop one of the conditions. Does anybody have a good drum machine idea for me? Metheny says I need to get a drum machine.

That's pretty cool. But they need a better way to search through the 60000 beats. Maybe I should just learn to program my own. I need a Programming Jazz Drum Beats for Dummies. Anybody know a resource for basic jazz beats? High hat, bass drum, etc?

hi.

sorry, you probably donīt wanna hear this, but why not use a metronome on 2 and 4?

everything else might not be really good for your timing....

having said that: Of course I am preaching water while drinking wine...

The irealb is a fantastic software and you can mute piano and bass in the playalong, so you only hear the drummer. You can adjust the tempo (40-300) and select from different styles.

Plus, you can export the tracks as *.wav files.

It is not for free, but it doensīt cost too much and it is a really good software.

Doesnīt work on windows, though. MasOS, iOS and Android versions are available.

check irealb.com

Cheers,
H.

Thanks, but it's got to be Windows.

Well, Windows is a real limitation, but there must be a collection of loops you could find. Mac has Garageband, with thousands of drum loops available, perhaps you need to search for something equivalent. Well-made and recorded loops are cool because they will conform to various tempi.

This free tool might be worth looking into; I recall downloading it a while ago, but I already have BIAB so I didn't fool with it much. I guess I'll try it again over the break. I think you could use it as a "drum machine" by tossing in the changes, setting a tempo and turning off everything but the drums; but I'm just guessing. Perhaps it has a drum machine built in, I don't know.
