| | Jazz Guitar Duo or Trio Albums? Hi all,
I'd like to listen to jazz guitar duo or trio albums. But there aren't enough information on web.
I have:
Together: Larry Coryell & Emily Remler
Great Guitars: Byrd/Kessel/Ellis
Jim Hall & Pat Metheny: Jim Hall, Pat Metheny
Any comments are welcome!
Thanks,
Philip |

| | Barney Kessel, Herb Ellis, and Charlie Byrd recorded several albums together as "The Great Guitars." I'm not sure how easy they are to find nowadays.
You can also find a set of YouTube videos with Barney, Kenny Burrell and Grant Green recorded from some live dates (I think in Japan?) Googling their names should get you there. |

It is a really great duo album. Each guitar to one ear. Quite impressive they are only 2 but you sometime feel like there is a drummer a bassist & a fendrr rhode (solo of harmonics).
