Default Pick Control

I have some nerve damage in my right hand, so my index finger is a bit numb, so pick control is iffy. But seeing a video of Ron Eschete made me see the light - thumbpicks. Herco make a good pick with a wide blade for decent tone - the Herco heavies have a passable sound. I've experimented with the thumpicks developed by The SharkTooth & Kodiak Crossover Picks are a Revolution in guitar pick design, guitar playing functionality and player skill development. and I've settled on the crossover pick. My reference is jazz on an archtop: different styles may call for different picks.
