 simple solo to transcribe hi all, im looking for a simple solo to transcribe of one chorus, but I also intend to transcribe the bass line, comping (must have comping) and drums. Can anyone recommend me a simple easy chorus to transcribe that combines these elements? thirdegree     |

| Yeah, Miles is a good place to start. Kind of Blue has some easy solos on it, how about "So What"? Wes and Grant Green have some pretty easy solos because they were often more worried about groove than hip scales and 32nd notes. Peace, Kevin

| I second the suggestions of Kevin. Maybe choose Grant Green over Wes because sometimes Wes displayed some quick chops (depending on the solo)- although never a wasted note! - and that would be more laborious to transcribe. Perhaps a Grant Green blues and So What or Freddie the Freeloader... |
