Default erroll garner

guitar players, specially finger pickers, should have a look/listen to Erroll Garner.

I love his playing.

He never plays a tune the same twice, constantly changing it. stopping, starting, tempo, key, melody etc.

brilliant. and always full of joy. do yourself a favour and listen to the man. there are a lot of high quality youtube clips.

but his left hand, check it out, its a song by itself, and guitar players can do something along those lines as well.

so, if you're bored with "misty" check this out: you may never play the tune again.

Yeah, that's the one I have too; ARW indicates that the top is Andes Rosewood. Mine is very quiet for a single-coil (the lipstick PU); I usually have the blend slider 3/4 of the way towards the Mag side.

I don't want to further hijack this thread, but if you'd like to start a thread in the, "Guitars, Amps, and Gismos," section, I'd be glad to discuss it more.
