 Grimoire I almost bought the entire series of these books a few years ago, but financially I just wasn't in a spot where it made sense. Now, I'm a bit better off than before so I sat down at the local bookstore yesterday and thumbed through the Scales and Modes and the Exercise book looking to see if there was really anything I needed. I'm not sure. The visualizations that are there are useful. But, as one reviewer pointed out on Amazon.com, I'm not sure I want to spend $25 to $30 on a book where everything is repeated not for clarity but just for a different key. Any thoughts?     |

 they're just reference books...not bad to have on hand in a pinch, but not essential, and they don't really "teach" anything. |
