Newbie! Mister Magic?

Hi all... I'm a I-IV-V type player getting interested in lightweight jazz. Anyone have the correct voicings for the chords on Grover Washington Jr's Mr Magic? The licks are no problem but there are certain parts of the chord changes I can't seem to get.
I've got the Cm to F7 vamp as well as the Ebmaj7 and Abmag7 parts. But its the other changes that I can't "hear".
Here's what I'm using head and vamp parts:
Cm 8x8888
F7 8x78xx
For the Ebmaj7 to Abmaj7 parts I'm using x65333 or and xx6543 or as a sub x6878x.
It resolves in G7. I'm using 10X9 10 11
Its the other segments I can't get... it's that first segment of changes after the Cm to F7 parts... ? What's that? (Actually, I've got the real book chart but I'm having a hard time converting to chord names and correct shapes.)
Any thoughts from your collective wisdom out there? If possible, please spell it out... xxxxxx
Thanks!

JimBobWay,
Thanks. This is a D'OH! moment. I diodn;t think to look there. I guess I didn't think I would find it. I've been looking for the chords to Roland Kirk's "Serenade to a Cuckoo" as done by Jethro Tull 40 years ago. It's a real simple arrangement but I just can't seem to get the voicings. Anyway, I've searched hi & lo for tabs or music that might have the chords. No where to be found. SO its not a stretch to think Mister Magic wouldn't be tthere either! thanks for the link.

It's amazing what's available online! I post here because I learned much from others who share their knowledge and resources, so I try to add value now that I have the time. Cuckoo was a big influence for me too, along with a lot of Tull: e.g. "Bourée" (sic). There are qualms about fair use here, so I don't post my transcriptions, but I will send you my take on that if you are interested. PM me with your email if you want it.

Newbie! Old Memories

I use to listen to a collection of his songs in the late 70s and early 80s. I had forgotten all about these songs until this post. Mister magic, Inner City Blues, It feels so good. What good memories!! It brings back all the early feelings of the power of music when I was a teenager. Sneaking into clubs to see jazz concerts without letting my friends know because the other days I was going to the punk rock venues with my friends to keep them happy.

That is one the things I like about this site, the eclectic nature of the jazz shared here.

wow! thanks for the tip...(i always have to look things up). great tune. i didn't discover jethro tull until their second album (ahhh, 1969...). years later i learned to play the catchy bach tune (along with the allemande and gigue from the lute suite)...and, of course, rahsaan did come on my radar for many years...
