| | Very nice! I have played this tune for a couple of years, and just came up with my own intro, which utilizes a pedal tone on an open string. It's a little lame, but was what I heard in my head at the time.
I will incorporate some of these voicings, thanks. |

| | these are based on mccoy tyner's voicings on the original trane version. The bassist simply plays an E pedal.
If the bassist you're playing with wants to do something different, simply remove the E pedal tone. |
