Default guitar techniques magazine october 09

Hey just bought it and its got some good stuff!
its got a great section on 'rhythm changes' the best Ive read on the subject (its jazz for dummies!). also has a exercise on 'open voicings'/'closed voicings' and a good reply to a question on a jazz standard deciphering the tonal centres.
We get the mag late over here,
I'm wondering if anyone has checked out the November issue? is it any good? it has lesson 2 soloing over the 'I got rhythm bridge'.

I've bought this magazine a few times over the yearsand its been very hit and miss I cant stand the guitar tone on most of the cd tracks.
( the best issue was the first one I bought 'Feb 2003 with wes on the cover and a great pat martino lesson parental forms changing a Dim7 by one note can give you 4 Dom7 voicings with the Augmented form change 1 note and get 3 maj and 3 minor voicings '1952 vincent black lightning' and 'days of wine and roses'),

The rest havnt come close!

If this is that UK mag, then I subscribed to it for year, several years back. Solid stuff. It was like $80 for a year, so I didn't renew. Thanks for the heads up.
