Guitar Could anyone help transcribe the chords to this particular song?

Hello there, Ed here, I wasn't sure where to ask this question, so I thought this area might be appropriate.

Could someone help me figure the chords to this awesome cover?

Wow, she's something! Thanks for posting it. Good luck figuring out the chords. Having the video should help a lot and it looks like she's using pretty easy voicings.

It is just a Blues in E with a nice little twist on the turn around. The opening chords are E7#9 B7 A7.

See what you can come up with and I will help you along the way. It is always best to try something like this yourself. You will learn so much more that way. There are no mystic chords in there. The furthest she went out was using a few Dom 7b9 chords ascending in minor 3rds.

She is one hell of a singer.

I hate discovering someone so gifted only to find that they died in 1996. I first heard of Eva a couple of years ago, and still haven't heard a lot of her stuff.

Thank you for such quick and sincere replies, I'm getting to work on those chords...this is gonna be fun.

Sadly after months of discovering her wonderful voice, I read that she passed in 1996 of melanoma (skin cancer)...made me very sad. What a voice.

Wow! Just ... . wow. The last time I heard such a raw natural vocal talent on this scale was Janice. Once I got beyond being blown away by her, I started to visualize wild possibilities. I pictured her and Amy LaVere doing an unplugged duo.

Never heard of this artist, Ava Cassidy. But, now, I'll never forget her! Golden. RIP
