Books chord book

What is the best chord book for jazz guitar ? I am looking for a list of chord voicings, so not a theory book. It also should not be a book for beginners with just some easy chords i allready know, more like voicings for complicated chords (for example dom chords with altered and unaltered extensions together)

Any suggestions ?

With these books you'll cover any need you may have on jazz chords and harmony applications: you'll find tons of samples.Regards

mel bay has a great chord book..with exercises that go with them...

a good chord chart is on this site..check it out...

ted green has a very advanced chord progression book...

check out jamie aebersolds sit for some also...you want a book that has exercises not just the chords...like learning english..you look in the dictionary for words but you need an english book to learn how they go together..

time on the instrument..pierre

I love Jon Damian's The Chord Factory - it's a DIY-book from which you can learn a lot. Bret Willmot has a great chord book on Mel Bay.

Peter O'Mara's Chord Book from advance music is also great with very good examples of Scofiel, Metheny and Frisell and their chordal approach
