Default Corcovado (Real Book: bar 9 - 12)

According to The Real Book the chords of 'Corcovado' (bar 9-12) are:

| Fm7 | Bb7 | Em7 | A7#5 |

Because I can't get used to this progression (in combination with the melody), I play it this way (with descending bassline):

| Fm9/C | Bdim(b13) | Bb6 | A7b13 |
| 8x688x | 7x678x | 6x576x | 5x566x |

What do you think?

nice bass line. the brazilian ("composer approved") songbook gives:

Fm7 Bb9 E7b9 A7b9

jobim's handwritten manuscript is:

Fm triad ms 9-10; the notes E (bass) and G--only--for ms 11; A7b9 ms 12

...so lots of leeway to be "authentic".
