Man. You're the one who just posted the Brazilian Realbook right?

I feel like I owe you for these two great resources...

Thanks again!

You're welcome Mtierney. Yes, I have posted the Brazilian Realbook too.
I have copied some interesting stuff from this site, so I wanted to do something in return.

This is awesome. I've only heard of some of these tunes though, so what are some of the ones I should start off with?

randalljazz:

I feel the same way. For example, all of the music that friends burn for me or send me download links to, if I like it enough I will make a conscious effort to buy a physical copy, CD or vinyl. Although I prefer to keep all of my books on my laptop (bring my laptop to the gig and have 1500 songs right there), I'm going to keep the publishers and the writers in mind when I'm buying books. I agree completely though, I can't preach at people because as you can tell I took the download link gratefully, but I do try. Good point!

Gerard, I don't know how, but I'll return the favor somehow, at some point...

When it comes to buying CDs though, the artists don't even receive the money you paid with. Most of the money is siphoned by the corporate labels who published it. I'm not trying to endorse pirating, but at the same time it's important to know who you're really supporting with the money you spend.
