 selecting extensions and alterations in relation to melody hi it is often said that selecting extensions and alterations depends on what we have in melody. I wonder if you guys could 1.come up with few examples showing situations in which melody and chord extensions and alterations coexist in proper order ( alterations and extensions selected properly so that there is no any clash with melody) and explain why everything is ok? For comparison 2. could you guys provide few examples showing bad selection of extensions and alterations clashing with a melody? thanks in advance     |
