Default 4th chord scales alternating modes

4th chords voice led thru a cycle of diatonic 2nds in C Major

C F B---C D G---A D E---F B E---F G C---D G A---B E A //

B C F---G C D---E A D---E F B---C F G---A D G---A B E //

F B C---D G C---D E A---B E F---G C F---G A D---E A B //

4th chords voice led thru a cycle of diatonic 2nds in Ab Major

C F Bb---C Db G---Ab Db Eb---F Bb Eb---F G C---Db G Ab---Bb Eb Ab //

Bb C F---G C Db---Eb Ab Db---Eb F Bb---C F G---Ab Db G---Ab Bb Eb //

F Bb C---Db G C---Db Eb Ab---Bb Eb F---G C F---G Ab Db---Eb Ab Bb //

Alternating 2 chords from each key starting in C Major

C F B---C D G---Ab Db Eb---F Bb Eb---F G C---D G A---Bb Eb Ab //

Bb C F---G C D---E A D---Eb F Bb---C F G---A D G---A B E //

F Bb C---Db G C---D E A---B E F---G C F---G Ab Db---E A B // C F B //

Alternating 2 chords from each key starting in Ab Major

C F Bb---C Db G---A D E---F B E---F G C---Db G Ab---B E A //

B C F---G C Db---Eb Ab Db---E F B---C F G---Ab Db G---Ab Bb Eb //

F B C---D G C---Db Eb Ab---Bb Eb F---G C F---G A D---Eb Ab Bb// C F Bb //

Chords are read left to right, low to high. When register gets too low raise it an octave or two to continue.

These are just 2 arbitrary modes of Cmajor and C Phrygian (Ab Major).
It is one possible path to move in and out of a harmonic area.
Deriving modes from the 4 seven note scales there are 28 modes that share a common tone. These are my source material for combining modes.
As in all technical explorations, taste and discretion is important.

Bako, I don't understand your notation here. Could you please explain? There are horizontal and vertical lines of notes. I'm not sure, for example, in your first post if the 'first' chord is supposed to be, as there are multiple groups of notes laid out without any explanation.

Each chord is read left to right

Ex. C F B (1st chord) can be played in the following places:

8 8 9 X X X

X 3 3 4 X X

X X 10 10 12 X

X X X 5 6 7

There are 7 chords on each line meant to be played from left to right and then go to the next line and do the same.

The progression is a cycle of diatonic 2nds. If these were 7th chords it would simply be
CMa7 Dm7 Em7 FMa7 G7 Am7 Bm7b5.
The names of 4th chord are less standardized which makes confusion a greater possibility.

I wrote out the progression in each key by itself first to show the source material and then with the 2 keys combined, playing 2 chords from each key back and forth but maintaing the same voice leading.

Hope that helps, let me know if more clarification is still needed.
