Help Kenny Burrells Bluesy Jazz (taken from UK Publication Guitar Techniques Magazine

Key of Bb:

Bar 1 > Blusey licks / Bar 2 > Bb13 Eb9 / Bare 3 > bluesy licks - Bare 4 > Bb7#9 - Bar 5 > Bb9 / Bb7#9#5 - Bar 6 > Eb9 followed by bluesy licks rounding out bar 7 - Bar 8 > bluesy licks followed by Cm7 / C#dim on beats three and four rounding out the bar - Bar 9 > Bb9 / G7#5#9 / G7#5b9 - Bar 10 > Bm7 / Cm7 - Bar 11 > F13 and bluesy licks rounding out the bar - Bar 12 > bluesy licks - Bar 13 > bluesy licks - Bar 14 > bluesy run 16th notes - Bar 15 > " " - Bar 16 > " " lil' 16th rest - Bar 17 > double stops / 16th notes / 16 note rest - Bar 18 thru 22 bluesy stuff slides, hammer ons, double stops, the usual ordinary pentatonic stuff. Bar 23 > Bb13 / G7#5#9 - Bar 24 > C13 / F7#5#9 / Bb13

Fortunately there are tabs for the chords below as well as the basic changes.

I know the basic pentatonic bluesy phrasing stuff already.

Q: I want to be able to comp through the thing, after learning the thing verbatim. What would be some good orchestration type comp chords to play while someone is taking a soloing? (I would need the tabs for the changes) Also when it's my turn to solo, I just don't want to fumble around in a Mixo mood, and the ususal boring pentatonic stuff, I want to sound a lil' sophisticated, and twist the ear a lil' in a different angle, rather than be so boring and predictable. Would it be all key center scales? if so what scales besides Mixo and pentatonic stuff, and what could I do to break it up?

Best,
