 Jazzology, by Robert Rawlins. You can buy it on Amazon. Before I wrote my own book (which by the way does not discuss modal interchange), I used this one to teach theory. It's very thorough without being a 10-pound encyclopedia. On the other hand, not every book works for every reader. I'd lend you my copy but I don't expect to visit England any time soon.

| After you research MI a little feel free to ask me any questions... I have pretty good jazz understanding... very complete jazz understanding of. I don't have the traditional hangups. Some may call it a very loose understanding... but opens many more doors... Reg |
