Default Emily Remler Transcription of "Searchin'"

Anyone know where I can find either a transciption or lead sheet of the song "Searchin'" played by Emily Remler in her '84 album Transitions. I think song was written by Ellington.

I started transcribing it, but I may need a lead sheet structure to help me stay sraight. I don't see a sheet in any of the Real Books.

Thanks

jd

maybe you could try http://www.allthingsemily.com/guest-transcriptions/ or scribd.com . not sure if you'd find it though.

If you go here: Lessons | Remembering the life and music of legendary jazz guitarist Emily Remler Emily teaches Searchin' in Lessons 6 and 7 - download the accompanying pdf's as well as the mp3's. In the Lesson 6 pdf Emily herself has written out her arrangement in full and also given chord diagrams.

All the best,
Simon.

Thanks.

I had downloaded all of her (Joel's) lessons and documents quite a while ago, but hadn't recently looked through all of them. What a priceless resource.

I was listening to the Joy Spring mp3 and didn't go back a lesson. I see it now. Thanks for pointing it out.

That's a great web site! I love her playing...
