Help I'm working out the chords for "Love me or leave me"

Hi

I hope it's ok to post tabs and stuff on this forum

I'm trying to work out the chords for "Love Me Or Leave Me" as sung by Nina Simone (though maybe not in the same key)

What I've got so far is basic and sounds ok-ish to me but I'm really no great guitarist so I'd appreciate any ideas for better chords to replace any of mine

Quote:
verse :

Dm Gm7 A7
Say, love me or leave me and let me be lonely
Dm Gm7 A7
You won't believe me but I love you only
Dm Gm7 C7 F A7
I'd rather be lonely than happy with somebody else

middle bit :
D7 Gm (Gm7 ?)
There'll be no one unless that someone is you
C7 F A7
Until then I intend to be independently blue
if someone would be so kind as to have a quick play through that and tell me what they think that would be great!

thanks

I haven't tried it. I don't have a guitar with me a the moment (at work). I had a leadsheet in my computer. It was in Ab and I simply transposed it in F (like you did), but it looks about right.

EDIT: Of course, it is in minor, so I transposed from Fmin to Dmin.

I don't know if you noticed, but you can transpose to any key before downloading a pdf.
