 What Chord is this? a /D chord? I know a / usually denotes a slash chord, but this has no chord, just the base note... I came across it here. http://www.learnjazzstandards.com/wp...nstruments.pdf Sorry if I'm missing something obvious...      |

 In this context, it's meant to apply to the BbMaj7 that comes before. So, in measure 5, beats 1 and 2 are BbMaj7 and beats 3 and 4 are BbMaj7/D. It's just an easy way to write it so they don't have to write out the "BbMaj7" again. Peace, Kevin
