Default Changes for A section Days of Wine and Roses?

What are you all playing for the A sections? I am playing around with some back-cycling and such, but I wonder if someone might have some ideas about how to spice it up?

My understanding of the structure of the A section:

Bar 1: Imaj7 (e.g., Fmaj7)

Bar 2: bVII dom7+4 (e.g., Eb7+4)

Bars 3-5: minor ii-v to ii minor (e.g., Am7 to D7b9 to Gm7)

Bar 6: ii minor (e.g., Gm7)

Bar 7-8: bVII dom7+4 (e.g., Eb7+4)

Bar 9: Imaj7 (e.g. , Fmaj7)

Thanks for any ideas!

Bill Evans talks about changing keys between choruses in the Piano Jazz interview he did with Marian McPartland. From memory I think the trick is to alternate between say F and Ab.

You can change key on the V chord leading in to the A section, eg F --> Ebsus --> Ab, and Ab --> Csus --> F.

pleased to help! Just to clarify - it was specifically Wine and Roses Bill talked about using this device on, as far as I can remember!
