Default My big decision.....

.....is to concentrate playing everything on classical, and to get down to some serious practice on it everyday. The acoustic and the electric will have to wait in their boxes. I enjoy playing them, but.........they are kind of.....well, not sexy enough somehow. I've reached a point with classical where I become 'at one' with the instrument, and become totally immersed in the whole thing. The sheer number of different ways to produce the sound, the 'string ripping' effects, the controlled aggression, the percussive possibilities......a long list!
I am as yet not a 'serious' fan of classical guitar music.......it's nice to play anything, I find. My jazz theory is coming along nicely, thanks mainly to the good folk here. Blues is quite amazing on classical....rich vibrato and manic slides into flurries of notes, sharp pulls and percussive rhythm....it's all go at the minute!

Take a listen to Guy Van Duser, swing and ragtime on the classical. Very cool.
