Default Creating Chord Melodies with BIAB

BIAB will do this for you.

Open a song with a melody.

Select the "Generate Guitar Chord Solo" button.

Pick your player. Ed Bickert is even there.

View your chords at the Notation or Leadsheet Window.

(You can select preferred type of jazz chords with the options button.)

No kidding? Wow, what an interesting feature. What year did they start putting that in it? I am the worlds worst when it comes to getting some peice of tech, then just learning the basics of what I want to do and not ever going any deeper.

Just noticed it myself!

I was getting rid of buttons I never use and I saw it.

Derek, I have the 2007 version and you can generate a guitar chord solo by clicking on the chord diagram with the G chord in red dots. You can then go back to the main menu and click on the green square with two music notes and it will open into musical notation. Go to the bar at the top and click g for guitar and it will show the treble clef with tabs below for the chord melody you just created.

Thanks. I messed with it a few days after this initial post. Pretty amazing tool. Not sure how much I would want to use it, but might suggest some ideas for variation.

Agreed. I wouldn't use it to make chord melodies either.

It's pretty cool though.
