They do seem to be popping up more and more. Ted clearly didn't want to record much, and didn't play out much either. Shame.

A brilliant guitarist and former student of Ted Dan Sindel is editing the various private lessons and performances and adding them under that user name. There are actually a lot of lessons floating around in various formats, thankfully. Ted literally changed my musicial life several years ago. Literally.

If you want more, go to his website where his girlfriend, the amazing Barb Franklin, is adding his actual lesson sheets little by little. She plans on having them all available at some point, and all for free.

She also just published a book about him which you can purchase at Amazon.com. Some amazing insight into what made Ted so special.

Everything the guy played was musical..That "send in the clowns" he did at a seminar was beautiful....

Visit the TedGreene.com website regularly, or at least at the beginning of each month when new material is posted. There's tons of his teaching material in his "legacy archives." He was a musical genius, and a great person. He left his mark mainly as a guitar teacher's teacher.

I had the good fortune of studying with Ted for a short time, and he was amazing. Chord Chemistry is a great book, but don't overlook Modern Chord Progessions and Single Note Soloing Vol. 1 & 2. They're all great, and the TedGreene.com - The Legacy Of Ted Greene Lives On site has a treasure trove of information. He was surely one of the best players ever; but more importantly he was an amazing teacher.
Enjoy his videos and recordings!!
Don

Don,

I am jealous. If you have spent anytime over at the TG forum, you know I'd give my kingdom for an hour or two w/ Ted.

I agree w/ you on Modern Chord Progressions. I actually recommend it first to people who ask because it helps give immediate satisfaction, combined w/ the potential of lifetimes of study.
