| | This one is pretty straightforward, you should try your own ideas and see what you come up with |

| | Try starting with an Am, hammer on the entire chord between alternate E and A bass notes.
Am / / /
Dm7/// //// Cmaj7/// //// Fmaj7/// ///// Am/// ////
Dm7/// //// Am7//// Cmaj7/ Dm7/ Ddim/ (single note walk down C, A, G) and back into the Am intro |

| | BTW, in the novel MASH (and Altman film) the unit had a dentist nicknamed "Painless" who commits suicide. |

| | Just aw the following on TDPRI. Haven't tried it to see if it sounds right:
//: X05500, X04030 / X05500, X04030 ://
Semi-arpeggiate the first chord of each measure.
Intro to "Suicide is Painless". |

They used the "black capsule"... it is fake. I just googled it. Hence the song, "Suicide is Painless" which was co-written by Altman and Mandel. ... Suicide Is Painless - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
I am uploading a pdf.
