Default Check this site (nice CM songs)

1. In stand-alone exe (each song)
2. In TABs

Lick By Neck - Learn The Guitar Visually. Play The Guitar instantly! Teach The Guitar Globally!

Then go to "Download for free and play great now!

Yep. Would be nice for them to zip everything together in one file so we don't spend 3 hours right clicking and "saving as."

Used to visit this site, tabs are good, but they don't list the names of the chords at all which would save so much time. I never visit anymore

Yes, it does list the names of the chords.

1. Each song in .exe version shows the chords on left side below the fretboard

2. Beside this, the chords are listed in "Chart column" but in "Solo Pop Guitar Lessons": Collection #7,8, and 9 only .

I think it's best if i shelve my CM of 'California Dreamin" for the next ten years....It seems to have a half-life of Cobalt no one wants to suddenly go near .....

I downloaded all the songs from this site. There are in total 1,100 songs in 730 MB. If you guys want them, please tell me, and I will upload them.

Btw, Mash Hawkeye, you don't have to spend 3 hours right clicking and "saving as." I did the whole job in 30 minutes. Changed the option in the browser 'don't ask the question every time', set Download folder to the section of the songs I wanted to download. Then I just was clicking the links to songs. Then, in Explorer 'Select All', 'Extract Here', then 'Delete'. I repeated this for each section of the songs. So I ended up with folders, each containing *.exe files.

Ah, you are not taking the "I am working" factor into this equation.

@work = fixing everyone's computer problems + time away from PC + checking print queues + downloading = 3 hours minimum.

K? I spent easily 3 hours downloading whilst performing my duties.

One little trick I found about these .exe files... while the track is being played you can find a temporary .wav file of the track in whatever the current folder you have the .exe It is temporary and the moment you close the .exe the .wav is gone.

When I come home this evening I will upload the files. I will try to upload to MediaFire (although I had recently some problems with uploading to this site). We'll see.

OK, so I finished uploading the files. Here are the links:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/mgzzyj...eck.part01.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/qgggjn...eck.part02.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/zojdwg...eck.part03.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/jkkyzz...eck.part04.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/zjmmgi...eck.part05.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/zmmgjz...eck.part06.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/yjckc4...eck.part07.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/3uy4i3...eck.part08.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/o4rz1m...eck.part09.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/lqxkim...eck.part10.rar

Just download them and unrar. All the songs are separated into folders. There are in total 1051 songs/licks.

I included also a resource extractor (xn_resourceeditor_setup.exe ), so you can extract a MIDI file from the .exe.

Enjoy!

Default Playing Chord-Melody

You guys may already know of him, but if you want to see some incredible chord-melody playing, check out Joe Pass. There are a bunch of videos of him on YouTube. Check him out. Incredible!

Thanks for the post.
Not sure about anyone else, but I can't follow tabs that are not accompanied by standard notation.
But thanks anyway.

Lick by Neck is an excellent resource. I'm having fun with Ted Greene's version of Summertime right now.
