I worked up your Silent Night yesterday and played it last night at the gig. Sweet! That, along with Christmas Time Is Here, and White Christmas. Got extra tips, never a bad thing!

Matt, on Jingle Bells, is it possible that you can do an audio on it and post it here. I really need to hear someone play it. My timing and rhythm is not so good so need that extra help. And again, thank you for posting.

Here's a whole e-book of them, for those who are TOO LAZY (; to do it themselves. Not mine. I don't know how good they are. But there's quite a few. Downside for me: Tab. Yuck!!

Can someone explain Matts constant use of the xx2233, (CM7, Am7), chords again? Drop 2's??

They are quartal, panditonic chords that function in lot's of different ways (as you can see by the Cma7, Ami7)


EADG. stacked 4ths.


In the case of C, the chord is C6/9 with an E bass. In the case of Ami7 it's an Ami11. In both cases he root is implied
