Ha!! I read this as quarter pedantic chords, at first!! Thanks John. I notice that Matt uses these all over the neck...easy grip but I can't always figure out the chord right away...have to see the context.

Is there any tutorial on using this grip on the forum, or elsewhere...it makes playing easy and sounds cool.

Thanks, Sailor

If you want to find a whole bunch then harmize the pentatonic scale. 3,4 and 5 note chords

ex. in C first 3 strings :

ADG
CEA
DGC
EAD
GCE

4 NOTE

EADG
GCEA
ADGC
CEAD
DGCE

Figure out what they would be against a C and an Ami. Then figure out what they would be against the other 11 notes and their respective melodic minor. ex CEAD is C6/9 or Ami11. in Bb it would be Bb ma9#11 (or b5) or Gmi11

One more voicing to run through the scale

4321
GCDE

Hope you like stretches

Thanks for the pdf files! I was just noodling through some of these this week- trying to work them out myself- this will streamline things nicely!
