Hi man,
I would have preferred to listen to the full melody, not 1/4 of it only. Then you could take a chorus the way you like...
What guitar is yours?
Regards.

To be honest, it's a bit "notey" for my taste. It's such a good melody, I would have preferred to hear it.

You've got some cool things happening in your single note lines, but the melody is lacking there as well...it's more about chops it seems...if you can just reign that in a bit and try to think melodically while exercising those chops you'll be in great shape.

Oberg's a chops monster, but I don't put him in the category of a great melodist...truly great players can balance the two...check out julian lage and frank vignola doing this one, and boulou and elios ferre...

You sound like you are well on your way and have great potential.

Nice.
Free impression on Django "Nuages".
Great sound ala gipsy jazz guitar and a lot of nice Django style lines.
