Default Barry Galbraith's "Satin Doll"

I have just finished Mr. Galbraith's "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face". I need to practice until perfect.

I find the rythm of "Satin Doll" a bit of a challenge. There's a definite rythm pattern to the song and keeping it going smoothly is the issue. Any suggestions on how to keep in step with the rythm pattern and chord changes?

I'm working on the chord melodies "Tenderly", "When Sunny Gets Blue", "All The Things You Are", and now "Satin Doll".

What's a good intro to "All The Things You Are"? I heard one on Youtube, but I didn't save it. I'm trying to save myself the time of looking for it and if you can help me out, I would appreciate it.

Re Satin Doll-I found the easiest way was to use a metronome to get a groove going around 86bpm.Once you get use to it the arrangement is fairly easy.

The classic Charlie Parker intro: Db7#9 to C7#9, leading to Fm7 to start the tune. I do not know how to communicte melodies via typing, but if you search youtube for this - which will take all of 5 seconds - you will find it and it's easy to transcribe.

The melody goes:

Dee ah bo, Dee ah bo, dee ah bo, dee ah bo

Dee ah bo, Dee ah bo, Dee
