Default Ideas for CM medley

Hey everybody,

I'm putting together some ideas for a smallish 3-song medley of solo guitar to perform in my senior recital next year. I'm thinking I'd really like to do Blue In Green, but can anyone provide some ideas for other (not-too-difficult) CMs that would go well with that song? I'd like to get 3 songs back to back for a total of maybe 5 minutes, which would serve as a warmup before I went on with the rest of the recital w/ a combo.

I'd go with the "Blue."

So you start off with Blue in Green....Rubato...ruminating...and you come out into a nice, brighter waltz, "Bluesette."

And you finish with Blue Bossa...or "Am I Blue?"--OOh, maybe with some walking bass over that sweet blues...

I dunno, that's the first thing that came to my mind...

I was thinking along the same line. Green works, too, Green Dolphin Street, Greensleeves, or one from column 'A' and one from column 'B' (so to say).

That's a really cool idea! I don't care much for Bluesette (song makes me want to kill myself, esp when played on harmonica), but Am I Blue, Blue Bossa, Afro Blue, Green Dolphin Street...these are all great tunes that I'm already familiar with. Thanks for the tip!
